Weddings ~ Events ~ Flowers

Bella Flora 30a’s owners, Margie and Melanie Jordan, and their family has a long history going back four generations to Great, Great, Grandfather Johnson, who grew prize winning roses in Southern California,  early in the 20th century.  Not to be outdone,  the following generations have expanded throughout the country, from coast to coast, the Midwest, and Southeast,  each with a passion for flowers, vegetables, fruit trees, spacious lawns and gardens. 

Melanie Jordan – Design Manager and co owner of Bella Flora.  Following in the family tradition,  Melanie educational background includes art, photography,  horticulture, landscape and design.  Her education also spans the country, and studied in Minneapolis, New York and Charleston, SC.  Each event has a unique and fresh approach,  as her consultations reveal each client’s personality and style,  and transforms their dreams into reality.

Margie Jordan –  Co Owner, Wedding Planner, Business manager.   Margie follows the family tradition with a passion for flowers and anything living.   After moving to the Florida Panhandle in 2000,  she became a wedding coordinator for Seaside until opening Bella Flora in 2004.  Now in the  7th year,  and hundreds of weddings and special events,  Margie still looks forward to each new bride, with energy, new ideas, and undivided attention to their own unique wedding events. 

Melinda Spies – Floral and Event Designer.  Melinda grew up in her mother’s flower shop,  with an eye for style,  and a passion for all elements of design.  With a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Fine arts, she brings an incredible talent to every detail in overall design aesthetic.

We never get tired of saying THANK YOU to everyone that has helped Bella Flora become one of the Premier Wedding and Event, Floral and design businesses on the Emerald Coast of the Florida Panhandle. 

THANK you to our brides and grooms and to their families for allowing us to visualize their dreams and turn them into realities.  We are truly blessed to have such wonderful careers that allows us to work with our hands, our visions, and talents to create beautiful flowers and events.  The simple daily routine of receiving fresh flowers, plants and new design products makes everyday a holiday at Bella Flora.
